Our Feedstock
Basalt
Abundant around the world, basalt is a divalent metal rich volcanic rock. We utilize its unique composition and reactivity as the backbone of our process, extracting high-value metal composites while permanently locking away carbon dioxide.
Waste Desalination Brine
A byproduct of some regions’ essential water infrastructure, reject brine is typically a high-salinity environmental challenge. We valorize this waste stream, harvesting useful metals for development of advanced materials.
Carbon Dioxide
By capturing and mineralizing industrial emissions, we achieve a permanent, carbon-negative sequestration state, transforming a gaseous liability into solid, marketable industrial materials.
Our Products
Supplementary Cementitious Material (SCM)
A high-reactivity pozzolanic material designed to replace clinker in concrete formulations. Our SCM directly supports the construction industry’s decarbonization goals by reducing the carbon footprint of concrete by up to 30%.
Hydrotalcite
A layered double hydroxide material synthesized from the magnesium and aluminum fractions of our feedstock. Our high purity hydrotalcite can be used as a PVC heat stabilizer, flame retardant, and acid scavenger.
Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC)
A high-purity synthesized mineral filler created through the direct carbonation of calcium. Our PCC offers superior brightness, opacity, and controlled particle size.
Iron-Silicon Composite
A specialized metallic-mineral composite recovered during our basalt treatment process. Our high surface area Fe-Si composite serves as a functional absorbent for wastewater treatment.
